This boy from Oklahoma doesn't believe in waiting for things to happen. At the ripe old age of 13, John started his first band and he hasn't looked back since.
In 1992, John joined the legendary band, The Nixons, signed with MCA records and recorded the first in a string of top 40 hits that just keep coming.
In 2003, John joined the hard hitting, modern-rock band Seether, touring relentlessly and amassing twenty top 5 singles, three platinum records and numerous gold records. John has shared the stage with some of the world's biggest bands including Metallica, Audioslave and Black Sabbath.
In 2020, Seether released their eighth studio album and hit #1 on the Mainstream Rock Charts with the album's first single "Dangerous".
"When the opportunity came my way to play the drums built and designed by the only living Ludwig in the business today, I jumped at the chance. The WFLIII Generations Maple drums are by far the best sounding, finest built drums I've ever played."
John tours and records with his Caribbean Sand Generations Maple kit. His current set-up is two 16"x24" bass drums, 16"x16" and 16"x18" floor toms, 9"x13" rack tom and a 6.5"x14" 1728 Maple Snare with a Trick GS007 multi-step strainer.
